The common-sense plan to build simple plantation-style dwellings to house homeless people is getting a lot more attention now from TV and the newspaper. It has actually been under consideration for several months.
But a local church’s plan to house people in fiberglass igloo-shaped domes seems to have melted, or at least isn’t getting any more attention. That’s too bad, because it actually sounded quite promising. And very innovative.
At least our leaders are being spurred to action, finally. It has taken far too long for them to start addressing this terrible problem, and our beautiful city is a stinky mess because of that.
